HEDIS Correlation

HEDIS Correlations

The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), Washington, DC, collects data from over 90% of the health plans in the United States in order to evaluate and report health plan performance with respect to quality of care and service. The tool used by NCQA to collect this data is the Health Plan Employer Data and Information Set (HEDIS). HEDIS addresses a wide range of important health care states. Data collected by HEDIS and reported annually by NCQA are used by employers, providers, and consumers to compare how well health plans provide care for their diabetic patient population.

At Managed Solutions, LLC we understand the importance of taking data and turning it into meaningful and actionable information. An example of this is correlating HEDIS data with drug utilization to determine if there is a relationship between different medications and health plan clinical performance.
